COVID-19 Update

Dear Shiloh Family,

Shiloh Veterinary Hospital now has TWO WAYS that our clients can be present for their pet’s exam. You are welcome to come into the hospital for your pet’s exam with one of our doctors OR connect with the doctor via virtual curbside exam using one of our hospital-provided iPads. That way, you can sit in the comfort of your car and watch your pet’s exam while communicating with the doctor. (Please note: iPad virtual exams are available for doctor appointments only.) iPad access may not be available for emergencies and urgent care appointments as they may already be in use. Medication and food pick-ups, as well as technician appointments, will remain exclusively curbside until further notice.

Appointment Protocols

If you choose to be present for your pet’s exam, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines for your safety and the safety of all of our clients and staff:

  • Only one client/owner is permitted in building at a time during your pet’s exam with the doctor.
  • You must wear a face mask which covers your mouth and nose the entire time that you are in our building.
  • You will be escorted into the building by one of our technicians who will then then help you get settled so you can observe the exam.
  • In order to maintain safe social distancing, we cannot allow you to assist with the restraint of your pet.

Please also note that:

  • If the service is being performed by a technician, your visit will be a curbside only service.
  • Food and medication pickups will also remain a curbside only service.
  • When you arrive at our office, please call (717) 767-0180. If you are at our Dover office, dial extension 311. If you are at our East office, dial extension 322.

Also of note: While we are still not able to accept new clients at this time, we ARE now scheduling pet wellness exams!

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these changes, please call us at (717) 767-0180.

Please stay safe and healthy, everyone. Our community will get through this together, and we sincerely appreciate your support and flexibility during this difficult time.

All our best,
Your Doctors and Staff at SVH
