Kevin Moon, D.V.M.

A native of central Illinois, Dr. Kevin Moon decided to become a veterinarian when he was 13 years old. He earned a BS in animal sciences from the University of Illinois in 2008, and in 2014, he received his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he met his wife, Emily. His special interests include exotics, wildlife, and ultrasound. He is trained in SDEP abdominal ultrasound and is Fear Free certified. He joined Shiloh Veterinary Hospital in April 2021.

He and Emily settled down near the Susquehanna and share their home with island dogs, Mowgli and Leopard, and cats, Eddie and Jules. In his free time, Dr. Moon volunteers at Raven Ridge Wildlife Center. When he’s not working with animals, he enjoys hiking, gaming, and reading.
