David Schneider, D.V.M.

Dr. David Schneider grew up in a family of dentists in Maryland, but his love of animals overcame the family career path. He received a BS in animal science from the University of Maryland College Park where he was classmates with Dr. Owings. He earned his DVM from Iowa State University in 2002 and was a veterinarian in Hagerstown before moving to Pennsylvania. He joined Shiloh Veterinary Hospital in June 2008. His special interests include dentistry and soft tissue surgery. He also appreciates challenging cases and working with owners to take care of their pets.

He and his wife Dori have three children, Lily, Sophie, and Henry. They share their home with a small zoo that includes Emma the Corgi; cats Charlie, Lola, Soren, and Ellie; a leopard gecko named Persephone; hermit crabs and seven chickens. In his free time, Dr. Schneider enjoys playing tennis and golf, and building Legos.
